Meredith Cox is the Owner and Head Trainer for Off Leash K9 Training Memphis LLC. Meredith grew up in a small town in South Carolina where she grew up around dogs, cats, and cows, and developed a passion and love for all animals! Her family rescued dogs of different breeds, and she discovered her passion for training dogs when she began working with her German Shepherd/Chow mix named Duke! A few years after getting her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and learning about Animal Behavior and Learning, she moved to Memphis, TN. Along with training dogs to be reliable off leash in the most distracting environments, Meredith specializes in behavior modification. She works with dogs with dog aggression, human aggression, reactivity, and anxiety. After finding Off Leash K9 Training, Meredith trained under celebrity dog trainer and OLK9 founder Nick White where she learned to apply the techniques from this world-renowned dog training system to dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Meredith has worked with hundreds of dogs of all breeds and temperaments. She is excited to offer lessons and our Board and Train program in the Memphis, West Memphis, Northern Mississippi, and Eastern Tennessee areas.
